Club Grant Program Opens for the 2018-2019 Academic Year

The student-led initiative/club grant program has opened for the third consecutive year this August. The program began in 2015 with the goal of eliminating financial constraints for students who sought to spearhead projects ranging from community service events to campus beautification. Although finance and budgeting are key skills to develop as a leader of an initiative, it should not be an insurmountable barrier against progress.

This semester we are proud to announce our first grant recipient for the month of September. Congratulations to the East Chapel Hill High School National Honors Society for being chosen as the September 2018 recipient. The ECHHS chapter of NHS has a long history of excellence when it comes to serving their local community, and even have done philanthropic work to alleviate crisis internationally. We are very optimistic about this group of highly motivated students and excited to see them begin another year of service.
